Aluminium Alloy 6061 - Aerospace Grade

Aluminium 6061 is one of the most widely used alloys in the 6000 series. It offers a good combination of strength, weldability, and corrosion resistance. Originally developed for aircraft structures, 6061 is now used in a wide variety of structural applications. 6061 has excellent mechanical properties when heat treated to the T6 temper and provides good workability in the annealed condition.
