EN19T (709M40T) Round Bar – Bespoke Cut

EN19T (709M40T) is a high quality, high tensile alloy steel, supplied in the hardened and tempered 'T' condition. EN19T is a through-hardening medium carbon chromium-molybdenum alloy steel offering high strength combined with good ductility and wear resistance. It is used extensively in the automotive, engineering and aerospace sectors for components such as gears, shafts, spindles, studs, bolts, connecting rods, and general high-strength engineering applications. EN19T offers: • High tensile strength (850-1000 MPa) • Good ductility and impact resistance • Suitable for further heat treatment • Good wear resistance All material available bespoke cut to length or fixed lengths and in imperial or metric sizes.
