S275 is a structural grade steel with a minimum yield strength of 275 N/mm². This grade of steel, along with S275JR, is useful for many general engineering and structural jobs and comes in a variety of forms, such as a plate, flat bar, and even a round bar. Though this grade isn’t as strong of a steel as S355, it functions as a great welding metal and has good machinability. If request our company is able to flame cut a profile into a sheet of S275. S275 suitable for numerous general engineering and structural applications. S275 & S275JR steel can be supplied in many forms including plate, round bar and flat bar. S275 gives a lower strength (than S355) but has good machinability and can also be welded. The average minimum yield for S275 steel is 275 N/mm². That is why it is called S275. BS EN 10025 S275 & S275JR supercedes BS4360 43A and 43B.
