Acetal Round Bar
Acetal Copolymer is also know under the following trade or brand names Delrin, Tecaform, Ultraform, Celcon. As well as Acetal brand names it also know as the following industrial names including polyacetal, polyoxymethylene (POM), which is a high performance engineering polymer. Acetal is available as a homopolymer (POM-H) or copolymer (POM-C). Acetals have excellent mechanical and physical properties such as high mechanical strength and rigidity, excellent fatigue and impact resistance, as well as resistance to moisture, gasoline, lubricants, solvents, and many other neutral chemicals.

Nylon 6 Extruded Dia
Nylon 6 or PA 6 as it is also know is a semicrystalline polyamide and a versatile engineering thermoplastic. Nylon 6 has an excellent balance of toughness and resistance to heat and chemicals, it is a harder plastic than others. It is a good engineering plastic to consider where metal replacement is being sort after. Because of its high performance and low cost Nylon 6 is becoming a great solution for many engineering projects. It is very easy to machine and has a high mechanical strength. Applications: used where high mechanical strength, great rigidity, and good stability under heat is required. Bearings, gears, sprockets, bushes, profiles and machined parts.

Nylon 66 Extruded Dia
Nylon 6/6 or PA 66 as it is also know is a semicrystalline polyamide and a versatile engineering thermoplastic. Nylon 6/6 has an great balance of toughness, flexibility and resistance to heat, it is stiffer and harder but more brittle than its counterpart nylon 6. It has a higher melting point and is used where higher operating temperatures are needed. Applications: Bearings, gears, sprockets, bushes, profiles and machined parts.

Nylon 66 Cast Dia
Cast Nylon 66 (PA 66) rod offers superior mechanical properties compared to extruded variants. The casting process produces a stress-free material with high crystallinity, excellent dimensional stability, and enhanced wear resistance. Cast Nylon 66 provides higher strength and stiffness than Nylon 6, with better heat resistance and lower moisture absorption. Ideal for heavy-duty applications requiring exceptional durability. Applications: Heavy-duty gears, high-load bearings, wear strips, guide wheels, rollers, bushings, and precision machined components in demanding industrial environments.

Polycarbonate (PC) is a widely used engineering thermoplastic with great properties: it is transparent, strong, has good dimensional and thermal stability, and unmatched impact resistance. It is used in products such as DVDs, eyewear, lenses, riot shields, and security glass. Polycarbonate is naturally transparent with light transmission almost as well as glass, but is virtually unbreakable.

Polypropylene (PP)
Polypropylene (PP) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer used in packaging, reusable containers, textiles, automotive components, and banknotes. It is strong and resistant to many organic solvents, degreasing agents, and acids. Available in Polypropylene H (PP-H) for engineering/tooling and PP-C (Polypropylene Copolymer) for hygienic cladding.

PTFE (Teflon)
PTFE which is almost alway referred to as Polytetrafluoroethylene is an engineering plastic that has many modern day applications (also known as Teflon). PTFE is chemically inert, weatherable, a great electrical insulation, it has both a high temperature resistance, and a low coefficient of friction and non-adhesive properties. Teflon® is a familiar trade name for polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) made by DuPont. One application of PTFE is the cooking industry and cookware production as it is a perfectly suited to a non-stick coating on kitchen pans and utensils. As well as being a great resource in the cooking industry it is also used to make and containers and pipes in industries that contain corrosive or reactive chemicals due to its non-reactive makeup.

Tufnol Whale Brand
Tufnol® Whale® Brand is a Medium-weave Phenolic Cotton Laminate (SRBF – Synthetic Resin Bonded Fabric). It is a well rounded engineering plastic that suit many purposes. It has good properties that are high strength, good toughness and good weatherability. Whale Tufnol sheet material is produced in a similar way to plywood and, as a result, is quite rigid double that of nylon. It has many uses but as said above is a good general purpose plastic that can be used in many different applications such as gears, spacers, jigs and low voltage insulation etc.

PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)
Polyvinyl chloride which is often called PVC and vinyl is the world’s third-most widely produced synthetic plastic polymer, apart from polyethylene and polypropylene. PVC has great strength, lightweight, durable and flame retardant. The characteristics of Polyvinyl chloride make them an excellent choice in kitchens and bathrooms. This particular plastic is also a popular choice with trade customers who work in the construction industry.

Acrylic (PMMA)
Acrylic has many different names including Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA). It is also known as acrylic or acrylic glass as well as by many different trade names such as Plexiglas, Acrylite, Lucite, and Perspex to name just a few. Acrylic engineering plastic is transparent, lightweight and shatterproof. This type of engineered plastic is often used as an alternative or replacement to glass, as well as casting resin, a comment in inks and coatings, to name just a few.
